Claire Wayner
Senior Associate with RMI’s Carbon-Free Electricity Program
Claire Wayner is a senior associate with RMI’s Carbon-Free Electricity Program, where she advocates for policy and regulatory reforms related to electricity markets, new generator interconnection, and transmission to create a more reliable, least-cost, and zero-carbon U.S. electricity grid. Claire has also worked at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, and the U.S. Council on Environmental Quality. She graduated from Princeton in 2022 with a BSE degree in environmental engineering and certificates in sustainable energy and environmental policy. She is also a Udall and Truman scholar and is passionate about public service.
