April 13th, 2018

Princeton University Energy Association’s inaugural student-run energy conference, New Jersey’s Energy Future, looked at the interplay of technology innovation, market forces, public policy (federal, state and local), and human behavior. Speakers discussed options for the federal and state governments, the power market operator, and power companies to advance affordable, reliable and clean power in New Jersey. They also discussed how research and analysis at Princeton University could help inform public and private decision making in the power sector.

Keynote speakers included Ralph Izzo, President and CEO of PSEG, Cheryl LaFleur, former commissioner of the Federal Regulatory Energy Commission (FERC), and Kathleen Frangione, former Chief Policy Advisor of the office of the Governor of New Jersey, Phil Murphy.
